One signal
An agent that spends your money, for $20 a month
Meta launched Muse on Tuesday. It shops, buys movie tickets, books appointments, and fills out forms. Free, then $20 or $100 a month. US only, 18 and up, in a standalone app and in WhatsApp.
The capability is not new. The price is.
Two design choices show Meta respects the risk. Every user's agent runs in its own isolated Linux VM. Consequential actions route through an approval layer called Sentinel. There is a $300,000 bug bounty on it.
Until this week, “AI agent” was something you explained. Now your staff and your family can buy one for the price of a streaming bundle. Meta did not even announce it on its own AI blog. It went straight to distribution.
What this means for you: the meeting question changes from “should we look at agents” to “is anyone already letting one use a company card, and under what rule.” Write that rule down this week, before you need it. → Axios → TechCrunch
